HANAYOI Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) hereby establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) regarding the handling of personal information of users, business partners, job applicants, officers and employees, etc. (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Users, etc.”) of various services provided by the Company (hereinafter referred to as “the Company’s Services”).

Article 2 (Acquisition of Personal Information)
The Company may acquire personal information and information from credit information agencies, etc. of Users, etc. through lawful and fair means.
The Company will not acquire “Sensitive Personal Information” as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information without obtaining prior consent from the individual, except in cases permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws and regulations.
Article 3 (Collection and Use of Personal Information)
The purposes for which the Company collects and uses personal information are as follows:
- To provide and operate the Company’s Services
- For conclusion, performance, and other transaction management of contracts between the Company and Users, etc.
- To conduct marketing research, statistics, and analysis
- To improve the Company’s Services and develop new services
- To respond to acts that violate the terms and conditions, etc.
- To respond to inquiries
- To provide seminar attendance guidance, register participants, manage attendance history, collect course fees, etc.
- To provide information sessions related to the Company’s Services, register participants, manage history, etc.
- To conduct recruitment selection, improve recruitment activities, manage officers, employees, and prospective employees, etc.
- For purposes separately specified in the Company’s Services

Article 4 (Ensuring Accuracy of Personal Information, etc.)
The Company shall endeavor to keep personal information accurate and up-to-date within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use, and to delete such personal information without delay when it is no longer necessary to use it.
Article 5 (Management of Personal Information)
The Company shall implement necessary and appropriate measures for the security management of personal information (hereinafter referred to as “Security Management Measures”), such as management of access to personal information, restriction of means of taking out personal information, prevention of unauthorized access from outside, and other measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information.
Article 6 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
1. The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining prior consent from Users, etc., except in the following cases. However, this excludes cases permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws and regulations.
- When based on laws and regulations
- When it is necessary for the protection of human life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
- When it is particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national government agency, a local government, or a person entrusted by either thereof in executing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the individual is likely to impede the execution of such affairs
- When the following matters have been notified in advance to the individual or made easily accessible to the individual in accordance with the regulations of the Personal Information Protection Commission, and the Company has reported to the Personal Information Protection Commission, in cases where the Company has stipulated that it will stop providing personal information that identifies the individual in response to the individual’s request (excluding cases where the personal information provided to third parties falls under Sensitive Personal Information):i. The purpose of use includes provision to third parties
ii. Items of data provided to third parties
iii. Method of provision to third parties
iv. Stopping the provision of personal information to third parties in response to the individual’s request
v. Method of accepting the individual’s request
2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, in the following cases, the recipient of such personal information shall not be deemed a third party:
- When personal information is provided as the Company outsources all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
- When personal information is provided due to business succession as a result of merger or other reasons
- When personal information is provided to a specific person with whom it is jointly used, and the required details have been notified in advance or made easily accessible
3. When the Company provides personal information to a third party in a foreign country, the Company shall obtain the prior consent of the individual, except in cases permitted by applicable laws.
Article 7 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
1. Upon request from an individual, the Company will disclose personal information without delay, unless disclosure falls under any of the following cases:
- Risk of harming life, body, property, or other rights and interests
- Risk of significantly impeding proper business operations
- Violation of laws or regulations
If disclosure is refused, the individual will be notified without delay.
2. In principle, the Company will not disclose information other than personal information, such as history or characteristic information.
Article 8 (Correction, Addition, and Deletion of Personal Information)
- Individuals may request correction, addition, or deletion of incorrect personal information.
- If necessary, the Company will respond without delay and notify the individual. If no action is taken, the individual will also be notified.
Article 9 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)
- Upon request, the Company will investigate and suspend or delete personal information if required, or take alternative measures if suspension is difficult.
- The same applies to requests to stop provision of personal information to third parties.
- If no suspension is made, the individual will be notified.
Article 10 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)
- This Policy may be changed at any time.
- Revised policies become effective upon posting on this website unless otherwise specified.
